PANONIJA TRADE DOO is a family-owned company founded exactly 35 years ago, now with the third generation involved in the business. We are engaged in the production of natural sausage casings for the meat industry, butcher shops, and households — for private home slaughtering.

During the season from November to the end of January, we sell our own products in our two retail locations — one at Temerinski put 89-91, and the other in Sombor. We are also involved in the import and sale of collagen casings under the FABIOS brand, the world leader in their production. Our product range also includes spices and additives for the meat industry.

Production Capacity

At our facility on Temerinski put, with an area of approximately 1,250 m², there is a production plant where the manufacturing process takes place — processing of raw materials, primarily cleaned pork or sheep intestines, which are further sorted by caliber (determining the diameter of the casing) and measured into finished casings ready for filling final products.

Our business objective is to supply the market with top-quality products. Through dedicated and committed work, enormous effort, and a sincere desire to further develop the business, in 2007 we built a business-production facility — the most modern in this part of Europe — with 35 employees. It includes large-capacity warehouses as well as a cold storage for finished products. Our products are used by our largest meat industry companies, such as Juhor, Neoplanta, and Zlatiborac, as well as butchers, restaurants, and home processors during the slaughter season.

Standards & Quality

Since 2007, production has been carried out in accordance with the HACCP certified food safety system and ISO 22000 standards. Our work is based on compliance with legal regulations and the implementation of food quality and safety control standards.

The long-standing work of our company and our expert staff are a guarantee of the quality of our products on the domestic market as well as in neighboring countries. We also hold an export registration number for exporting to the EU and the Russian Federation.
